Often times, when I am faced with a tough decision, I will perform “The Rocking Chair Test”. This is where I take the decision I am wrestling with and imaging myself at 95 years old, in my rocking chair, looking back on the decision.
-What does my life look like all these years later, after having made the decision to take action?
-What does my life look like if I pass on it?
-How will I grow?
-How will I benefit others?
-What kind of a contribution–what kind of a difference–did I make by going forth?
